DIAS Website design and creation (including profiles system) This site was developed for the Masters Training Programme (MTP) in the Department of Instrumentation and Analytical Science (DIAS) at UMIST. I designed the site, created all the pages (using Server Side Includes to make the maintenance of the site a lot easier) and did the programming in ASP accessing a SQL Server 7 database. The programming consisted of three elements: the "Quickfind" facility, the e-mail submission form for requesting an application pack, and a database system (including password protected administration system) for viewing profiles of previous DIAS students from a database.
