Sport Lived contact me to help them with their existing website. They had existing pages for requesting a brochure and submitting enquiries, but those details were just e-mailed to them and they wanted increased functionality providing a completely integrated system of dealing with these requests. I provided them with replacements that stored the details entered in a database and provided an admin system, with login accounts, for them to access and manage the brochure requests and enquiries. Admin functionality includes the management of admin accounts, the management of a list of countries and sports (among other things) used in the enquiry forms on the website, and a customer area where you can find brochure requests and enquiries and record details of each contact with a customer, record when you next want to contact the customer, if/when a brochure has been sent, and send an SMS text message to an individual or group of customers (based on your search criteria). I am currently working on a much bigger project for Sport Lived.

Red Ted Art found and contacted me through Twitter to help them with their blog. They had a blog on Wordpress which they wanted to move to their own private hosting with their own domain. At the same time as moving their blog they wanted an overhaul, so I found and configured a new magazine-style design theme for them, and added in all the extra functionality they wanted in their blog such as the incorporation of a PayPal shop. I also provided instructions on how to use the new functionality in their blog and use the new e-mail accounts I set up for them at their new domain.

MemoryDayz describes itself in the following way: 'MemoryDayz lets you share videos, photographs and messages of your Wedding, Anniversary, Birthday or Bar Mitzvah with friends and family around the world.' The admin-side of the website system I provided for MemoryDayz consists of the ability to manage a MemoryDayz partner's list of weddings, guests, photos, and videos. Partners can FTP their photos or videos in bulk onto the site for them to be processed, or they can upload individually. They are able to rotate photos and assign them to albums. Videos are automatically converted into a format which can be streamed directly from web pages on the site, and a thumbnail picture is automatically captured from half way through the video footage and used on the site. Partners add captions to their videos. The user side of the system consists of a login enabling the viewing and contribution to a guestbook, blog (for the event owners e.g. husband and wife that got married), viewing photos and uploading/sharing your own photos, viewing and uploading/sharing your own videos (which are automatically converted and thumbnails captured just like the admin-side), and inviting guests (for the event owners to create logins for friends and family who are then e-mailed). Guests can comment on photos and videos. Partner logos for the event region of the country are randomly displayed.

Deirdre Bounds approached me to develop the website for her idea of Parties Around the World. We had previously worked together to develop the i-to-i online TEFL course (in use 2000-2009). I provided a Content Management System for staff to maintain all aspects of the website including banner advertising and customers. People can register their birthday party on the site and it creates a unique URL for them and their guests to use to access their party page. It also creates unique party codes for guests to use to login to the party page so that they can RSVP and donate money to the party child's chosen charity. Invites, birthday cards and thank you cards are created in pdf form, on-the-fly, for people to download and print instantly.

For these sites I provided an online booking system with secure online payment, with a course and customer administration system. The customer administration system includes the ability to produce on-the-fly PDF documents of letters to go out to customers, with relevant maps graphics and directions etc. for the course they are booked onto. The booking system, and course dates and locations listings provided real-time availability details. I also provided a brochure request facility.
